YES, the CP09 can be used for SMS.

How do you set the emergency call button (SOS) for the CP09?

1. PHONE BOOK > EMERGENCY NUMBER > NEW > EMERGENCY CALL 1> INSERT NUMBER
2. Same as above for the next three numbers.

Does the CP09 have SPEAKERPHONE? If yes, how is this function activated?

YES, the CP09 has a built-in SPEAKERPHONE that can be accessed by pressing the CALL BUTTON (denoted by the green color phone symbol) while in an active call, followed by scrolling DOWN on the menu options, and activating the SPEAKERPHONE function.

Is there a speed dial function on the CP09?

YES, there is a speed dial function on the CPO9. You can set up to 10 speed dial numbers from 2 to 9, * , #. The speed dial can be set directly by accessing the PHONE BOOK > SPD DIAL. menu. From there, you can add, edit, delete, and dial the speed dial numbers.

How long is the warranty for? Where is the service centre located?

12 months warranty for phone and 6 months for accessories including battery. The service center is located in Sydney Foresight Technologies office.  

What languages do the CP09 support?

The CP09 provides both ENGLISH and SIMPLIFED CHINESE menu interface. The SMS functions also supports English and Simplified Chinese inputs and displays.
